Hi, amazing what you find when you're searching for something else. I was searching to see what type of car Bill had. Not the red.. um.. whatever it's called in "Just Another 3-Ring Circus" but his normal yellow/tan FBI standard issue car. I ended up finding a possibly old interview of Stephen J. Cannell talking about his decision to let a movie be made of the show. The post mentioning it was made back in 2004. A few days ago we were discussing in another thread about who would be good to cast for the A-Team movie and I mentioned it if not others here or on other boards mentioned it as well. Who would be good for the roles in the GAH movie. Cannell mentions Adam Sandler along with Brad Pitt as who he thinks would be good casted as Ralph. Going on with that he talks about how the casting is based on the other performers. When he talks about Maxwell he mentions Robert Duvall and/or Gene Hackman. Here, I'll let you guys AND gals read it for yourselves. It's midway down the page. archive.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=155824Personally, and I know this isn't set in stone but I never would have pictured Adam Sandler as Ralph Hinkley. I've only seen bits and segments of his movie but even so, he seems too comedic for Ralph. Plus his humor/language is to out there for the Ralph character. I will say this though, Gene Hackman mentioned just for the sake of mentioning for Bill Maxwell? Now THAT'S intriguing! I kinda like it!

I concur. I think that Maxwell should probably be cast first as that character had a huge emotional imbalance against the suit and station in life. I think Bill and Ralph should probably be an actor duo that has worked together before so they have an idea of HOW to get along. I don't know who I would pick for Ralph, but Tommy Lee Jones and Harrison Ford could both play Bill I think. As I have mentioned numerous time...Richard Dean Anderson of MACGYVER may be the best idea for Bill...same mentality between Bill Maxwell and his most recent TV character...Jack O'Neill.

Man, current news of a GAH movie really seems to have died out. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Hmmm...

Probably good. You don't want a new HEROINE starring Jessica Simpson do you?

If it's rated NC-17, yes.

That would require a XXX rating if they actually interacted. A solo male penis warrants the NC-17 depending on how long it is on screen. An X rating usually goes to two women (Holly and Pam) interacting sexually. A XXX rating goes for men and women involved in sexual relations of any sort. I don't think there is just a XX, but that would be third base territory I imagine. Good thing I had to research ratings once upon a time. I think it unfair how a male penis is more offensive than a vagina. They should have the same movie rating...just another way men are seen as superior to women. Pam should file a lawsuit based on gender discrimination.
