I've heard about "Down First and Ten" where Ralph is a stunt man and uses part of the suit and all. I found something else. I was browsing TV.com and IMDB.com after the mention of trivia facts was made in another post. Wondered if there would be any location mentioning, there wasn't. I did find this post on the GAH IMDB.com entry message board talking about another unfilmed script from the show. "They Came From Outer Space". www.wagglepop.com/bin/auction/view?cmd=view&listingID=312761You can buy it for $13 it seems. They've got a few more scripts that WERE shown.. Live at Eleven... etc.. Just thought I'd mention this.

Great find, Claye. Too many episodes went unfilmed or were redone it seems like. We could have had several more episodes on DVD...even unaired if they had kept their wits about them.

www.geocities.com/maverickscripts/TVG.htmIf you scroll more than halfway down to "GREATEST AMERICAN HERO, THE", this may be a source for the "Long Fall at Ten, Two, & Four" script, as well... GREATEST AMERICAN HERO, THE: Pilot Beast in Black, The Chicken in Every Plot, A Don't Mess Around with Jim Dreams Greatest American Heroine, The Just Another Three-Ring Circus Long Fall at Ten, Two, and Four; The <<<<<<<<<<<<<< Lost Diablo, The My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys Operation: Spoilsport This is the One the Suit was Made For Actually, the whole list looks very similar to those on a link BW has in her greatestJournal... www.planetmegamall.com/screenplays/TV_scripts_G.html

Regarding "The Long Fall at Ten, Two, and Four," I'm still wondering if Dr Pepper was going to make an appearance somewhere. It was in the old ads, and is on the labels of Dublin Dr Pepper, or the Dr Pepper they're selling now that is the old recipe with Imperial Pure Cane sugar. Probably out of the unfilmed scripts, this is the one I'd like to read because of the premise and such. It's been interesting to see someone's take on if the suit works if parts are missing or not. I've delved in the case of the suit not working when morphed except to morph it back to the suit, but not pieces missing.

It appears to be a spec script (no production number, copyright, etc) written by a couple of guys who were trying to break into the Hollywood system at the time. Not real "paid for by Cannell Productions" unfilmed material.

Long Fall written by Culp was not on the same level as his other two scripts for the series. No matter if you love or hate his other two produced episodes, the one thing they are not is "kiddiefied". Not that Long Fall is, it's not. It's just that issues examined in his other 2 shows are a bit deeper than in this one. Yes the suit still works without the cape, belt, etc. Only it work's sort of at "half-power", at least for his script. That's also the way Culp himself refered to it in an acticle back in the 80's.

Cool, that helps explain some things I've read earlier for the story, thanks. While I like Lilacs, I think Vanity's issues were a little too deep for the series. It's not that it was bad, it just seemed they were trying to make it more adult and it ended up confusing as heck (especially the sleeper idea). This one just sounded more interesting to me, even now.

Can someone tell me the actual, official title of that unfilmed Robert Culp-written GAH script? I've seen it called several things.

Can someone tell me the actual, official title of that unfilmed Robert Culp-written GAH script? I've seen it called several things. The Long Fall at Ten, Two, and Four It was intended to be the last episode filmed for the 1st season, but according to Culp it was scratched when it was discovered that by the time the episode would have been shot and ready to air, the rest of the shows on at the time would be into reruns. Therefore with everything into reruns no one would be watching when this last show would have aired, not realizing it was new. The landscape of tv has changed alot since 1981.

Would the script "They Came From Outer Space" have made a good episode. What was it about?

I would really appreciate also being told the synopsis of the two unfilmed scripts folks have been mentioning: The Came From Outer Space and The Long Fall etc. Can anyone owning one of those scripts please take a moment and give us a clue what the shows were about, plotwise? Thanks!

"They Came From Outer Space" sets up the plot where a farmer with a "book of alien secrets." Yup, it's the instruction manual. And, yup, again Ralph doesn't get to see it.

"The Long Fall At Ten, Two, & Four" written by: Robert Culp April 10, 1981 April 16, 1981 (F. R. --->that's all I've got, must've been cut off note: this copy has character & set lists
Opens with Pam really getting fed up with Bill always dragging Ralph on scenarios. The main story takes place at a Western old town ranch. Ralph takes a job as a stuntman. Bill has another fake quotation: "Insurance is for sissies: George Bernard Shaw."

"Double, Double, Toil, & Trouble" written by: Donald Kieran Austen February 10, 1983 Final Draft
Ray Shackelford has broken out of Terminal Island Penitentiary during laundry detail. Ralph wants to give up the jammies again. "The Scarlet Green Guy." Ralph is apparently doing a sleep walking bit... & he can also fly straight when asleep! Bill gets a speeding ticket.

I have to admit, even if it's a fan written one, this one's interesting as well. It'd been interesting to see what happened when Ralph does things in the suit while sleepwalking. I've had one story with the suit enhancing nightmares, but this sounds a lot funnier.

Or a 72 oz. steak dinner that's free if you eat it in one hour. (You know, that might be a fun story to write with Ralph, Pam and Bill... if they visited Amarillo. )
