And, here's a clip from "Learning to Surf." I wish they would have put up one more scene such as the photo where Katt is lugging his surfboard around - or at least show just how short that short board is that the other fellow was using so I could figure out why he fell. : So that's why Bill calls Ralph a beach bum. ;D

So that's why Bill calls Ralph a beach bum. ;D And, we also figure out what Ralph did after he passed the suit to Holly... ... well, then again, he surfed before and after that Holly dream. ;D

That's really cool. I first noticed it on the '80s TV Theme Supersite many years ago, and it's hard to avoid watching over and over again. And if you watch the promo closely, one of the actors appears twice.

That was awful, Ms. B. Hey, to some fans it's not much different than them considering casting Ashton Kutcher as Ralph for the movie. Seriously - Owen Wilson, though not a popular choice around here - has more acting chops that Kutcher. (Personally, even there I think he'd be decent, but not the strongest for the role either.)

It may not be much different, but that doesn't it make it right.

That was awful, Ms. B. It was so bad it was funny. I had actually wondered if someone would do that spoof for Obama given how the election went. That said, I have seen an interesting one for Hiliary versus Obama - set to a "Batman" theme.

Too bad no one did a McCain as Bill...
Anyway, it gives a new meaning to the "Green Guys" too... Glad to know that the ship is a hybrid.

I hope this hasn't been answered already; I didn't really wanna scroll through everything. Has anyone posted the "Robot Chicken" segment with GAH on YouTube? Just from my sister telling me about I was dying of laughter. I saw the previously mentioned montage, it wasn't bad, but as someone said too bad they included images from that sequel in it

It was funny though, even if the did IMHO carry the end joke on a little too long to where it wasn't as funny (Yes, even Ms. Modest loved the alien's comment at the end when he takes the suit back. I just thought the rest of it went on a bit too long ).

Mind you, I like trying to find anything the cast has been in that you normally don't get to see, so here's a new one. This is an episode from "Cybill," called "Lowenstein's Lament." Katt plays an actor who is half of a team for a movie version of Ira and Cybill's life together and failed marriage. The other half is Paula Abdul, and back in the days she wasn't considered a parody of herself. They are both quite funny in these "film" scenes, and the story is pretty good. Oddity is - neither Katt nor Abdul are credited in the credits, though both were rather well-known by then. Even the smaller speaking roles got credited. Odd that. I do have to mention that this is not quite safe for work, because there are a few scenes where the couple's daughter is a museum tour guide and is talking about a statue that is a bit... um, well.... just think of Michaelangelo's "David" and you'll get the joke.

Ok just got this FWD'ed from Dennis Madalone. So, next Sunday, July 19 is the premiere screening of The Greatest American Hero, a new fan webisode series directed by yours truly, produced by Frank J. Zanca and Timothy Ryder , and based on the classic 80s show of the same name (Note: we are not associated with the Cannell Company). Starring Allen Rueckert, Don Stark, Brittany Ross, Morgan Snyder, Duane Daniels, Andreas Riter, Susie Abromeit and Jane Singer. The premiere is FREE, but please RSVP to frank@staytunedtv.net to ensure we've got enough seating for you. Premiering before The Greatest American Hero is Just the 3 of Us, a sketch comedy webisode series starring Kristen Herbert, Brandon McConnell and Rick Steadman. The entire program should last just over an hour. Please take a look at the attached flyer, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. We're very excited and look forward to seeing you next Sunday the 19th!
