I notice that it says issue 2 of 3 ... does this mean that there is only going to be just 3 issues?

I notice that it says issue 2 of 3 ... does this mean that there is only going to be just 3 issues? They probably put the 2 of three so people know that this is NOT the first comic in the series and don't wonder why they're jumping in the middle of a story. I would say that they're going to do all six that are promised because a. they are selling rather well - a lot of times sellout (even variant) and b. if they don't fulfill their promise, fans might not be as willing to support other ventures with "GAH" and anything new Stephen Cannell creates. People don't like to feel gyped when promised something and it doesn't come through - even here it's been slow, but that's fine: The comics still have been released.

Yeeeeea, I don;t buy that because if that was that case, they would have put, 2 or 6. Why 3, unless they know something we don't. Now don't get me wrong, I want their to be 2 of 300, but the truth is that they put 2 of 3 and that worries me. This comic is going to be big and when 3 of 3 comes out, what then?? They start over? with issue 1.

They start over? with issue 1. OK, it might not be labeling them in the series in general, but they could be doing the one of three to distinguish between the first three being the ones tied in to the retelling of the pilot so people know there are three for the series and not miss a chapter. Then there are three more after that at least. I do not know much about comics admittedly, but from what I have seen with other comics they number some linking stories in the whole universe of their character this way. I'm seeing it here. Also - given that everyone involved with it has said there are six, we'll at least get that. It's been said in print, vocally by those involved, etc. all over the web. It would be detrimental to every single actor and person involved long term to decide to reneg on that statement. People are buying these comics, and that shows there's a serious interest with it - and if you change your mind mid-stream it can affect the rest of your sales.

Yeah comics often mark story arcs like that.... "1 of 3" would refer to one story over three issues, then Issue 4 may also say "1 of 2" or "1 of 3" which begins a new story arc. Nothing to worry about. :-)

That makes no sense to me, THATGIRL. How can you like Tony's character then? Tony reminds you of a Nazi?

Tony reminds you of a Nazi? He is not a character to emulate in my opinion. Tony was a smart-ass kid, played by an adorable actor. I would not have paid any attention to the character at all if he were played by someone else, but I would not compare Tony to a Nazi.

I would. The major was played by a great actor too. ;D Anyway: It will be neat to read reviews about the second installment of this story arc.

There will only be three of these done. That's it. Sorry to say. Mortimer, you sure here? There has been news in many places from those making this that it was going to be six then see what happens afterward. First three were going to be the pilot, then the others would be a continuation of other stories. While I know with the economy that this sadly is a possibility, it just sounds odd to me that they'd only do the three comics when they're quite popular - both versions of the first one sold out quickly, and they had overall good reviews.

There will only be three of these done. That's it. Sorry to say. That's sad to hear, but I am sure they reserve the right to keep it going, especially if they sell well, right? Or were you being facetious? You know you can't do that around, Mel.

Mortimer would have a bit more insight here, but I'm digressing right now. So - that's why I'm asking if this is for sure or if it's just rumors.

You were being literal, Mel? Literally? It would be neat to know for sure. Ms. B, would Katt tell you if you asked for sure?

I have my copies.... and its like deja vu all over again. I when to my local comic book store and there was only 1 left out of 15 that he ordered. I asked the guy at the counter if there were any more and he tells me that he put all 15 on the shelf and they were being bought as he was placing them out. I got the last one and again as I was paying someone asked if there were any left and he was told that I am buying the last one.
I went to another location and they had 5 left out of the 20 they ordered. This was at 11:45am and they have only been open for 45 min.
I don't know about the rest of the country, but the Dallas area loves TGAH. Okay, time to start reading!!!

(Nor do we have a store here). I hope it's selling out everywhere because if it is, maybe it'll be a good reason to continue with the comics so that these first three retelling the pilot are NOT the only ones released.

I have never seen it around here. It must not be popular at all in Iowa, Nebraska, or Missouri.
