No, I agreed with you, J-Man that I am sure there were Kevin references, I just don't believe that Ralph willingly gave up custody. And Josie, these shots by J-Man are more convincing...I couldn't really see yours.

I know... I know... I am at the mercy of other screencappers. And that was what I had.
It's not like I right click every time I see Kevin... Bill, maybe...
Cyler.... certainly.
We need more Cyler photos here.

And probably a few more stories with the students or Cyler as the head agent.

Eye of the beholder on Aidan/Tony there HD. You'll say that until Cyler is the teammate. And, I write for myself first, so it's fun. There is potential, however, in a Cyler and Paco story with Shoe Fu. If Josie doesn't want to write it, I'll take it on.

You can, like with the students, stretch the personality out a little, but not much. A different one, you can create a personality. But I could try the story if I wanted to.

When I finish my other two Fanfiction works in progress, my plot bunny already in my head, my professional writing, and a million and one other writing projects, I will write the definitive Kung Shoe masterpiece.
Paco will welcome Cyler into his Dojo, and they will train day in and day out. I'll call it The Kung Shoe Kid.
Cyler: Hey - you ever get into fights when you were at Whitney?
Rodriquez: Huh - plenty.
Cyler: Yeah, but it wasn't like the problem I have, right?
Rodriquez: Why? Fighting’s fighting. Same thing.
Cyler: Yeah, but you knew Kung Shoe.
Rodriquez: Someone always knows more.
Cyler: You mean there were times when you were scared to fight?
Rodriquez: Always scared. Rodriquez hates fighting.
Cyler: Yeah, but you like Kung Shoe.
Rodriquez: So?
Cyler: So, Kung Shoe's fighting. You train to fight.
Rodriquez: That’s what you think?
Cyler: [pondering] No.
Rodriquez: Then why train?
Cyler: [thinks] So I won't have to fight.
Rodriquez: [laughs] Rodriquez has hope for you. Now, back to training... Lace on... lace off
Man... I gotta get off these boards...

You might ask Ms. B or someone if they can get you a specific screen capture if that is what you are after.

I'm watching the pilot and Pam goes, "You can forget about ever keeping custody of Kevin."
Do we ever find out HOW he ends up winning custody after all, since they had the photos of him in the suit, unconscious?

Do we ever find out HOW he ends up winning custody after all, since they had the photos of him in the suit, unconscious? I think Pam's comment referred to if he kept parading around in the suit in very public locations, which he did avoid doing mostly. Those times he did it wasn't often and it was someone who could cause him major problems, such as the cops. He doesn't have total custody of course, but my guess is that Bill was successful in persuading the people who had the pic of Ralph in the suit to not use it. Now, how he did it, that's up in the air. Kevin does still visit Ralph some, how much outside what he does we don't know, but at least it's more than not at all.

As Mel said, there is no guarantee that he DID win custody...especially since, as J-MAN noted, the last reference to him was in PLAGUE.

He was in a fair bit of the earlier eps, I figured that at some point Ralph ultimately let Alicia get custody, knowing with school and scenarios, he couldn't give him the attention he needed. At least that's how I view the situation in my little GAH-verse.

He wasn't even THERE for Ralph's wedding.

He was in a fair bit of the earlier eps, I figured that at some point Ralph ultimately let Alicia get custody, knowing with school and scenarios, he couldn't give him the attention he needed. At least that's how I view the situation in my little GAH-verse. In a story I've written (Reflections in Broken Glass), I had it where Ralph and Bill were on a rescue and Bill is seriously injured in a gunfight. He has to help Bill, but ends up having to give a statement as to what happened to the police (he's in regular clothes now BTW). He rushes to the courthouse afterward, only to find out the judge gave Alicia custody - with limited and supervised visits. Of course, since she moved around a lot, Ralph didn't get to visit Kevin as much. They eventually became more estranged, and that caused several problems. The irony too is the judge was going to give Ralph custody, but ended up changing it because he was late. But, that's just my POV on the situation. Personally, I felt that out of the two, Ralph would've still been the better parent. Yes, he had scenarios and such, but he still could take care of Kevin and if necessary, Pam or friends could watch him. Alicia, however, traveled around a lot, and therefore, didn't have a stable home as compared to Ralph's. But, this is TV, and when they figured out it might become more difficult to do episodes where Kevin didn't know about the suit, they decided to phase him out and "give" him to Alicia. Just wish they did a story where he lost custody. There could've been a good suit scenario mixed in when that happened.

You never know. Alicia might have been a much better mother than Ralph was a father. We only see it from Ralph's perspective. Besides, kids travel all the time or do not have stable homes and turn out just fine to some degree. Military kids can be similar, you know.

For whatever problems Ralph had with Alicia, we know that Kevin loved her and loved being with her. Even Ralph was a little jealous of Kevin's excitement of seeing Alicia arrive.
