I'm working on it so far. I have posted a few times and reread a number of threads, so there's my start.

I noticed! Good job! That's similar to what I and a few others have been doing at the Hulk tv series discussion board. We have been trying to kickstart that particular board for several months now, but so far with limited success.

Especially when GG and others stop by and are floored by the activity.

That would be awesome. Agreed. Especially if we set up a viewing, etc. I am hoping that the admin still retains the ability to email members. Maybe we could spur a few back that way too once we really get going again.

I've been going through the episodes lately. That would be enjoyable if several of us watched, let's say, an episode a week and discussed it in here afterwards. Back in 2011, Herald7 and I did that to mark the 30th anniversary of TGAH, but the level of participation from other members was low, unfortunately.

But, if we can get a few of us watching and commenting, others might make random comments now again. #TGAHRevival2018!

Yes, that would be great. The core members at this site have always been you, Mel Mac, Greenguy, MissD, and a few others. You guys were here many years before I joined, and you all know the show quite a bit better than I do (though I have learned a lot from reading threads and posts at this site). If the other core members were to get involved on a regular basis, this place would be thriving once again, just like in its "Golden Age". Definitely, it would be fun to do what you describe regarding watching the show and commenting on it. Today, I actually watched "Dreams" (I'm watching all 43 in order).

I should divide my time and start watching it again.
I almost chose it over STARGATE SG-1, but I knew STARGATE would keep me occupied longer, so I chose it.
Getting back in the groove here makes me question that decision now. I'll have to divide my time with the A-TEAM as well. :DD

I've actually never seen even one episode of the Stargate series----which is ironic because I love science fiction, plus those shows were made right here where I live, in Metro Vancouver. Canada. Lol! I've been intending to do so, but like you, I find that it can be hard to divide my time. Life is just racing by, it seems! I still can't believe that I hadn't watched TGAH in 6 years----not since 2011!

But a movie, 10 seasons, and two made-for-tv movies take time. I'm in the middle of Season 2 right now, so a LONG way to go.

HD, indeed! And I think you're only referring to Stargate-SG1? There were also Stargate Atlantis series which ran several seasons, and I think one series called Stargate Universe?

By the way, speaking of great sci-fi shows, HD, are you familiar with Firefly? It's a cult classic and it's awesome! I only discovered it last year, but I'm now a huge fan. It ran only 14 episodes before being cancelled, but it has since gained a huge following, some comic books have been published and other memorabilia. It's about a ragtag crew of a spaceship of smugglers in the far future, and it mixes science fiction with westerns. It's really hard to explain what makes it so good----it just is! Trust me on that one. It's very character-oriented, just like TGAH, and each of the 9 characters on the ship are colorful and unique, and the interractions and snappy dialogue are unforgettable----lots of humor.

I have the other two series as well. If I add them in, which I probably will, it will take even longer. I have heard of FIREFLY, but not watched it. I figure I will one day, but my wife watched an episode and got freaked out, so I'm holding off...again until the kids are older and she is outnumbered.

LOL, do you remember what it was that freaked her out? I honestly can't think of anything on Firefly that would scare an adult. It's basically quite light in tone usually. Lots of banter between the main characters, some interesting situations, the planets they land on usually look a bit like the American "Old West". Well, when you do get around to it, I think you'll enjoy it. It's pretty great----and only 14 episodes to get through.

I think it was the Reapers or whatever they are called, the flesh eaters.

She gets scared by the music on Scooby Doo. I think it was the Reapers or whatever they are called, the flesh eaters. Ah yes, the Reavers. They are actually never seen on the show, but the stories about them are indeed scary. They are savage cannibal rapists who live on the fringes of that solar system in Firefly. They are only finally seen in the feature film "Serenity", which is a Firefly movie that was made in 2005, 3 years after the TV series was cancelled. The movie is good, but is disappointing for two reasons----which you will know once you've watched the tv series and then watch the movie. By the way, not a good idea to watch "Serenity" before watching the 14 episodes of the show----it will be kind of confusing if you do so.
