I was just perusing the OT area and re-discovered this thread, about freaky storms.
My novel's still going to happen, but other stuff... like life... is intruding, lol!
I've outlined it all, from start to finish, so it shouldn't be difficult once I get ready to actually piece it together.
Freaky storms, lol... oh, how apropos that title is to my story! If you're a weather geek and/or pagan type like I tend to be, you're going to love this.

Whoot!

We can't wait. If THAT happens, then I will try to make sure and be there...because THEN it is worth something.

Aw, my second fan! (Silverhammer is my first... she's going to be in line to get my autograph at World Con in 12 years.)

Aw, my second fan! (Silverhammer is my first... she's going to be in line to get my autograph at World Con in 12 years.) Personally, I resent that. I was around a long time before her and supporting this endeavor, you know. SHE should be second...and I said I would be there.

You know, you're right. You've always been most encouraging in regards to my writing, and that was long before I "met" silverhammer.
Maybe Elouise over on fanfiction.net should be number one, actually. She's been reading my stuff since almost Day One and never fails to leave me reviews, chapter by chapter, lol. And she keeps me on my toes about getting stuff updated (like finishing my Lilacs Series... I'm so bad.)

I would leave you more, but I like complete stories...and I don't like some things (such as that cross-over I read and didn't know it was one) and anything that goes against the original GAH idea.

Meaning... Holly's a dream in my stories with Aidan. But, you did give me a whole lot of help with this earthquake one, and with the light aircraft crash one. I'm already getting the story in mind there (and I think it'll at least shed some light on the two characters). The other scenario I told you HD... not sure yet, but I'll get an idea soon and debate it with ya'll (again.) Only crossover I know of kos' done (save the M rated one) is "I Spy." I've only done one, and it's debatable if it's staying.

Kos did one with some quack named Q and GAH I recall. Oh yes, "Cosmic Responding" and Q from "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (and other versions) was the guest of honor. Only diff was Q was a female in this and not the John de Lancie character. (Now I know I talk to Looney Tunes too often.)

Well, "she" just wasn't manifesting as LOOKING like John de Lancie; still the same Q, however.

Yes... the earthquake one I'm working on still (and I have a few more in the works if I can get the ideas to work. I might now switch the blindness one to Ralph afterall. ) Aidan's got the light aircraft one, but it's really the only one I've got an entire idea of for her.

I don't know why, but I have always ENJOYED a good, moderate thunderstorm (where no one gets zapped by lightening ofcourse). The rain, the thunder, a moderate storm has always been something that makes me feel like putting a pot of coffee on the stove and relaxing.

We haven't had a good old fashioned thunderstorm since the Fourth of July (the worst day I ever had at the newspaper too, BTW). The building I think (I know the telephone poles nearby) gets a brush with electricity, restarting the computers. I feel a slight shock go through me as the computer tries to restart... but it was the only one that didn't. Will probably remember it more than the time I had to go to class in the middle of a snowstorm... only to find out when I get back from class (looking, almost literally, like Frosty the snowman) and find out they cancel the afternoon classes. I like storms, however, because we need the rain and such. It's pretty cool to watch one roll into town at sunset. I have one pic I took in Andrews of one right at sunset, which was a hellacious one too:

We had a few freaky storms this past week (all much needed and great), leading up to a cold front now. It's the first time in a long time it's been nice and cool. Finally feels like fall this week, and hopefully it'll stay for a long time. The one thing I've noticed that's been odd is that we haven't had a hurricane hit this season save one, which wound up almost not being one once it hit land. Very strange, as some years they go through the alphabet and then some others hardly go through it (yes, halfway is hardly through it).
