yep that's my kitty. will be 19 years old next month. me good 'ol 80s cat. whoa.. 19 yo?!! That's a lot for a cat. I liked him more in the picture you had yesterday, standing and in a frame; it gives that feeling of the super-cat-hero no other cat would mess with.

I have a couple pictures of him with a cape. It's not something he really enjoys wearing, but I thought he looks noble in red and fits the theme of the board so I went with it. Guess sometime I should get the pic of him standing on the roof, just hanging out...I'd hear tapping at my window and there was looking at me from outside. (3rd story) he'd climb a tree and there he was. Crazy cat...hee hee... Anyhoo...just watched the Hit Car today... I'm taking it slow watching the shows and enjoying them. If some are a bit cheesier than others, that's okay... I still love them.

OK, I'll give you a hint. The reason I call my made-up religion the Pre-Orb Cult, is because Pre-Orb Cult is an anagram of something. Lo-Brute CPR? PC-Bot Ruler? Colt Re-Burp? Tel-Rub Corp? Butler Crop? Club Porter? Curb Petrol?

My concern is, you can't un-ring a bell. Once I give it up, it will no longer be my special little secret.

having just finished watching the season one dvds...
the Reseda Rose epissde was a pretty big snore-fest. Combine a really pathetic storyline and some pretty awful effects shots of a remote-controlled submarine, a bunch of people who think that being dumb means you have a poorly affected New York accent, and some of the most lax security at a high-security technology lab I've ever seen and you get this episode.
And just in case you didn't catch that they changed his name to HANLEY, they make sure that everybody says it at least five times.
They should do a reunion episode where Ralph's son comes back as a super villain becaue his dad was never there for him when he was young!!! That poor kid gets shunted off every time Bill enters the room.

The worst part about Reseda Rose was that Tony was not in it at all.

having just finished watching the season one dvds... -Gordon aw, man. I'm still on the 2nd DVD...sigh. The next show I watch will be 'Reseda Rose' So I'm trying not to read the posts too much since that's the show topic at the time. Golly, I get a couple hours a week to sit down and watch the television, I used to watch a movie, but now I dedicate my TV time to The Greatest American Hero! hee hee...

Just like I noticed that in '200..Fast Ball' they mention Hinkley about 50 times. That's odd how they change it for 2 or 3 episodes, then just change it back. Rather odd... Does anyone know why they changed it back? And just not leave it Hanley instead? Just curious...

I heard they changed it back to Hinkley because the whole Reagan assassination had bowled over and the powers that be felt the public had enough time to forget so they just changed it back to Hinkley like nothing happened. I could be wrong but that is what I heard.

I actually like Reseda Rose. S'pose I just looked more at the good parts of the show. It was pretty amusing, the storyline wasn't that bad. There really isn't a Season One episode that I don't like. Yep, I like them all. Well, just started the Second Season... So I'm sure somewhere in the 2nd or 3rd Season that there's got to be an episode or two that's not too good.

It occurs to me that this is too easy because EVERYONE (except for two guys) have been picking third season episodes. Obviously, Babs Greyhosky became Producer and just did not understand the series. The humor was largely absent and the scripts were weak. Sometimes I was sitting around trying to figure out why our heroes were even bothering with some of the stuff. So, alternately, to make it HARD ... what are the worst 5 episodes from the first TWO seasons (the GOOD seasons)?
In this vein I would have to say that "Hog Wild" was my least favorite. It ONE good moment when the guy jumped off the roof trying to fly ... that was it.
After that it gets pretty hard. I was not terribly fond of Classical Gas or a few others, but they were NOT bad episodes, just not really solid episodes. Actually, I think that says how Strong the show was overall. From the first two years, only a handful of bad episodes existed and, for me anyway, only one that stands out. That is a pretty good tract record.
As for third season. The only ones I liked (and none of them were really on par with the first two seasons) were Divorce Venusian Style, Resurrection of Carlini, Heaven is in Your Genes, and Vanity, Says the Preacher, two of which have been mentioned as worst episodes here.

I don't know if it was really ol' Babs fault, I think it's safe to say it was always a "Troubled" production, that may not have been a long-run bet in any circumstance. The budget problems (the special effects were always pretty lousy), the constant struggle to make the show somewhat for adults (in eps like "My Heroes" and the pilot) vs. a show for kids (episodes where they take their class to foreign countries(!), episodes vs. space monsters, eps. where the kids sing cover tunes at Woodstock-ish concerts!), the Hinkley/Hanley mess, the amazing disappearing Kevin....it holds up BECAUSE of its eccentricities and the leads' chemistry, but really, once he learns how to use the suit it becomes harder & harder to retain what made the show magical in the 1st place. I mean, as greenguy points out, in his episode summary, all too often they were fighting commies & bank robbers (with some anti-government militias thrown in for good measure), and so on. I haven't seen enough of the 3rd season episodes recently to make an evaluation, but they may simply have had trouble coming up with fresh ideas, regardless of who was in charge.
