I'm not sure if this was done in a previous thread or not, but figured it was worth starting a new topic for. Besides the DVD sets, anyone else here own other GAH related memorabilia? Here's my item list:
-All three season DVD sets of GAH -The Deluxe Collector's Tin -80s Tees GAH red insignia shirt -1982 GAH TV Guide issue with Katt interview -An incomplete suit replica with caps, tunic and pants -First run second and third season episodes recorded on VHS -GAH insignia coffee mug from cafepress -GAH cigarette lighter (same picture as TV Guide cover on front) -Copies of three GAH scripts:The Pilot, The Beast in the Black and The Hand Painted Thai. -Joey Scarbury 'America's Greatest Hero' reissue CD -45 vinyl record of the 'Believe it or Not' single on the Elektra label

I have some of the original episodes on tape and some other things like dimestore trinkets produced, but nothing on the scale of a suit, scripts, or ads from the time...mainly because I was too little to collect them then and I have not seen fit to buy them at the moment. I do collect A-TEAM stuff though.

I used to watch The A-TEAM a lot when I was a kid and badly wanted a pair of dark blue Converse sneakers just like Murdock wore. For some reason, at the time, the dark blue were off the market and you couldn't find them anywhere. They did start selling them again a few years later around '88 or so.

I don't have any outfits of any of them, but I might try to go as Murdock this Halloween. That is one of the reasons I worked to update last year's April Fools Prank here (when MyTatuo turned everything into the A-TEAM) into a forum on its own. ;D Check my profile if you want to return to those childhood days.

I have two things outside of the DVDs (one kinda on a technicality): An autograph from Katt - including the envelope it came in that was hand written by him and a T-Shirt I made with the "GAH" emblem (the tech). Don't own much true memorabilia of the show itself, though I have a "What-if" bit where I think I saw one of the Mego sets of Bill, Ralph and the Bug in a KayBee Toy store in the '90s but didn't get it. (and, sadly, I can't - the mall's now gone). That said, the show has been more of an inspiration though, such as deciding to do a juggling routine to the theme.

I wonder whatever happened to the miniature of the spaceship.

I wonder whatever happened to the miniature of the spaceship. Don't know, but they'd probably be pretty lucky. I think I've read somwhere of people having one of the hangliders from "Just Another Three-Ring Circus" and the van with Ralph who is flying it from "Dreams."

I have a bunch of episodes on VHS and the separate DVD seasons, naturally. I also have a homemade incomplete suit that's really only missing boots and the gray trim, which has a metal belt buckle I found on eBay. Some fan on eBay also made baseball caps with the insignia a couple of years ago and I have one of those also. I have the Electric Tiki statue of Ralph as well as the custom Mego-style action figure from eBay that was made for an FX Convention last year. I have a Halloween costume of the suit from 80stees.com as well as their logo t-shirt. I used to have the issue of "Cracked" or "MAD" that spoofed GAH but have no idea where that is now. I can't remember which one it was...it's the one that has the scene of Ralph nearly colliding with Superman who says, "Watch it, twerp!" Stashed somewhere is also a Sci-Fi Journal magazine featuring GAH as well as one of the original drafts of the script of the pilot episode, in which the FBI agent is Bill Alexander and the suit is tan and brown without any logo and was delivered in a paper bag. ;D Here's the guy who has the model of the Challenger space shuttle from "Shock". I would love to have his collection! www.80skid.com/GreatestAmericanHero.htmand a picture of the van prop from "Dreams" by another collector: www.yourprops.com/view_item.php?movie_prop=733

I used to own one of the hang gliders, but I sold it a few years back. Why? Because even though it was used in the series, it had no connection such as a tiny Ralph figure attached to the van. Or figure with the space shuttle. It was just a mini hang glider with generic bad guy figure. I sold it to help with the purchase of other tv series items.

I do collect A-TEAM stuff though. They had dimestore trinkets? What exactly were they? Were they things like the "Cracked" and "MAD" magazines or were they something like what you get if you stick a quarter in the vending machine and get one of those plastic bubbles with the toy in them. (This of course coming from someone who has gotten some hematite jewelry pendant bases from the quarter vending machines. )

That is what I call them. I am not sure of the real name of them. My A-TEAM collection of stuff is cooler anyway.

Plus, if it's larger stuff, it can be called Kitsch. Most "dimestore trinkets" now are those that come out of vending machines at the entrance. And, yes, I can see why you like "The A-Team" items - especially since you've created a board and a practical joke here on the "GAH" board based on it.

Correction: MyTatuo created that. OK, clarification then... because you too helped create it by keeping it real. You have to take at least some credit there.

I wish I knew what happened to it. I only have all 3 series on DVD, which I bought about a month ago, plus a few random episodes I taped off TV when there were reruns about 10 years ago. Feel the love. dolfyn.

I got two "Mad" annuals at home from a book sale, and hoped they'd put the spoof in there. So far, all I've seen is a spoof to "Route 66." Not a bad one and they had Martin Milner down to a "T," But still... would rather have the "GAH" one.

you know, I still kick myself for not taking a closer look at the toys at that one KayBee Toy Store. I'm really convinced there was one of those Bill/Ralph/Beetle toys there, and I didn't get it. Of course, I could try - but that mall is rubble now and a new center's been put in its place.
