WOW. Just watched the intro to the TV Land Awards and I'm suprised. The only one who DIDN'T like like a complete and total idiot "flying" in was Katt. I thought he looked pretty good, and was surprised he was 'playing up' the whole "Ralph" crash, bang, boom thing as well as he did. Funny stuff! Just my $0.02. A nice job... at least by Katt. The other stars? Oh man, was I embarassed FOR them. lol I think most of them enjoyed flying except possibly Jerry Mathers. He had that "Why am I flying?" look on his face. It looked like he wasn't having as much fun as the others were. But, out of all of them Katt was definitely the best of the lot - he personified Ralph Hinkley again as if he never left the role.

It didn't make sense to me that Greg Brady, Arnold Jackson, etc were flying. The other classic stars should have been grounded, and Katt the only to fly as he did as Ralph. hhmmmm....I must have missed The Love Boat episode that had Doc flying....

Could've been more interesting if he flew as Seigfried: Siegfried: "Schalker this is Kaos... we don't FLY here!"

I agree that Katt's "flying" was the only one that made any real sense in the context of his character! He did look like he was having fun, too. ;D Feel the love. dolfyn.

True, but then again they all were supposed to be flying along the lines of the filksong to "I'm Flying" from the stage version of "Peter Pan." Though I could also see Gopher's reaction to Doc flying if it happened on the Love Boat: He'd probably yell for Capt. Stubing, Doc would land, Gopher would be back with the Captain and Gopher would go "Well, he was just flying... I thought he was..." And the captain would roll his eyes and sigh, saying there's no way Doc could fly. Doc however, would chuckle a little, knowing the truth. (If I could figure out how to do the crossover, I'd love to try my hand at a "GAH"/"Love Boat" one. )

Feel the love. dolfyn. ;D Yep, I did too - Gopher is the second character I remember watching at night (Ralph was the first). Both Gopher and Ralph are my top two favorite characters of all time. Probably why I can easily get scenes in my head of the two meeting when Ralph is in a suit scenario and something goes wrong.

Great job on the video Ms. Boku!
I can't imagine why they would allow themselves to do that. I mean who writes that "stuff"? Yes, it only made sense for Katt to be flying. I think it would have been a lot more fun to see them in a production number down on the stage, but whatever!

You know, one thing I noticed this year is TVLand hasn't shown many repeats of the awards show like in the past years. But will say that each year it gets funnier and better.
