If there's a just god in the world, Katt will be there to give Culp a reward for Bill Maxwell! Mona Or better still... the cast or SJC getting an award for a terrific show that people still talk about 27 years later. Which, of course, isn't bad given that there's only 43 episodes.

See now that is not fair! It's supposed to be me and Lauren first ! OK, I couldn't wait until Midnight here to see it, so I thought I'd try there... and since I found it on their site, why not share the love? (And I have to say - all of them did a great job. )

Perfect, Ms B. I liked how right after his pose, Katt put both hands on his head like "Ahhhhh!" Nice touch, there, plus the flailing arms.

Gotta say it was a nice opener, even if I could not care less about Vanessa Williams, nor do I think she can sing well at all. I guess I'm showing my age remembering watching all the old stars who flew across the room, and it was great seeing Katt, who did a good job. Kudos to TVLAND for putting up the awards show right away on their URL.

It was nice to see a lot of the old stars, even though the song sucked as well as the singer.

It was nice to see a lot of the old stars, even though the song sucked as well as the singer. Williams wasn't excellent, but IMHO she did better than Gavin MacLeod when he sang the theme to "The Love Boat" the first year of the awards. She does come in second right now, as the only other honoree of this title, the soprano used to sing the notes to the theme to "Star Trek," was on the Emmys.

Yeah it was. Meaning no disrespect to the old stars but I was surprised a lot of them were still alive. They must've been younger than I thought when they had their shows. I really have no concept of time.
