Dawn Wells spinning around too was very cute too. Yes, but given her arrest recently for possession of marijuana, one has to wonder if she was high before she went flying on the wires ;D LOL

Now, I will admit I didn't like the final episode made where they blew up Walnut Grove, but at least they did it in with a creative storyline. I cry everytime I see it. Every. Time. And I can respect why they decided to go in that direction. Michael Landon did that on purpose, so the Walnut Grove set could not be used again; he was afraid it would be used for some--unsavory--low budget film such as "Little Whorehouse on the Prairie", or something like that. The house and barn, however, have been used. . .I recall a commercial not too long ago for a candy bar (cookie bar?) with M&M's in it, and the commercial featured a farmer and his wife. In the background were the "Little House" and barn. Another time it was used for a location for "Fear Factor". I clearly remember this; the contestants had to eat cow eyeballs. Landon was definitely smart in that regard - especially since there were some questionable westerns back in that time. (Love the spin on the title too - a bit funny, if sadly true at times ) I think M&Ms had the cookie bar for a while, but didn't know that the house was used. Too bad they had to use it for the weird stuff like "Fear Factor" though. :-\

But, I think as far as wires and such if someone's high (drugs or alcohol) they're not allowed on them - both are depressants and can harm you if you can't put your arms out quickly to stop your motion if say you fly into something by mistake. (Of course, I say this and I fell quite hard onto a stage after a small hop-jump-turn trick juggling - unimpaired).

Mel. Dear. I was making a funny. LOL Oh... lol. ;D Sorry - I have a bad memory/experience about something like that, so I tend to get a little literal in the case of safety.

I loved Michael Landon and Victor French in HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN. ;D That was a good series too. Same with Landon in "Bonanza," even though I haven't watched it a lot compared to the other two. Then again - if it weren't watching "Bonanza" I wouldn't have learned that Dan Blocker was a teacher at a school in Texas at one point in his life.

Got to finally watch it on TV tonight, and noticed this. When Vanessa heads out flying, Ralph taps Horshack on the shoulder and says "Look she's flying." Kinda cute there. Plus, man, it's amazing how Palilio does look like his younger self with that wig. Didn't notice it until I could see the larger version on TV. Same with Arngrim as Nellie. Quite fun to see.

I couldn't believe it! I loved welcome back Kotter. I think they were Ralph's kids in another life.

Even though LHTOH strayed very far from the real story. But it was still fun to watch.

They did take creative liberties at times, but then there are stories such as the first few that did tell the story of Laura Ingalls in "Little House in the Big Woods." It was the Christmas story where Laura gets her doll and Mr. Edwards fights a snowstorm to visit the Ingalls for dinner, including bringing the toys for the girls and sweet potatoes in his pockets for balance and for dinner.
