I just enjoy the TV Land awards in general. They highlight many great shows and actors that I wish we had more of nowadays. Most of the time I'm watching videos of the classics - in fact, I think the most recent DVD collection I have is "Starhunter" or the first three eps of the current run of "Doctor Who."

Don't worry Ms B - there are many mysteries of life around here... ... and I can't say much - I sent Ralph to go to California from Arizona by way of New Mexico in a story.

Yeah, and I sent Ralph to my house by way of a pre programmed GPS. Yep, but I did that about two years ago and with the stroke of a key.

I can see the wires. Spoilsport. I felt sorry for Jerry Mathers though - some reason the wire got in front of his shoulder and couldn't get his arm in front of them when he was flying. Still at trooper though.

Different show, Mel. We are talking about the TV Land Awards. Yes, I know... watch the film and you see Beaver Cleaver flying to the stage with the wire in front of his arm and Mathers flying kinda oddly waist up for that reason. He can't soar (i.e. move his arms about) or anything because of that. (Good catch on the "Spoilsport" joke though. )

I can see the wires. Spoilsport. Funny. That same word came to mind as I read HD's Comment. He did look good in the air though. He is a pro after all.

Yep, and add to it the reactions, he probably was one of the few who acted in character I think. I also loved Arngrim making the faces to the audience like Nellie would've. (Do agree with her though - the costume had to have been heavy, sure looked like it.)

never watched little house. Sometimes I had trouble following it, but when your parents have the control when you're little, you watch many things. Now, I will admit I didn't like the final episode made where they blew up Walnut Grove, but at least they did it in with a creative storyline. Plus, I respect those actors and actresses because they had to walk barefoot on grass as well as wear heavier clothing in warm weather.

I couldn't help but love Barry Williams' involvement. He was great, and just as I remembered from meeting him six years ago. "MARGARITAAAA....."

Yeah, thought that was hilarious too as well as his flipping in circles. Dawn Wells spinning around too was very cute too. I think out of the opening sketches I've seen them do (most of them) this one is my favorite.

So did Katt show up in anything other than the behind the scenes and the opening?

never watched little house. Now, I will admit I didn't like the final episode made where they blew up Walnut Grove, but at least they did it in with a creative storyline. I cry everytime I see it. Every. Time. And I can respect why they decided to go in that direction. Michael Landon did that on purpose, so the Walnut Grove set could not be used again; he was afraid it would be used for some--unsavory--low budget film such as "Little Whorehouse on the Prairie", or something like that. The house and barn, however, have been used. . .I recall a commercial not too long ago for a candy bar (cookie bar?) with M&M's in it, and the commercial featured a farmer and his wife. In the background were the "Little House" and barn. Another time it was used for a location for "Fear Factor". I clearly remember this; the contestants had to eat cow eyeballs.
