Hey everyone! I'm new to these pages, but I just wanted to ask if any of your Season 2 DVD's have the same defect as mine. No, I'm not talking about the lack of original music. On Disc #4, the episodes are the exact same episodes from Disc #3. In other words, I do not have these episodes: "The Shock Will Kill You", "A Chicken in Every Pot", "The Devil in the Deep Blue Sea" and "It's All Downhill From Here". I have each of the episodes from Disc #3 twice in my set! Yes, I double checked and the discs are clearly labled "Disc 3" and "Disc 4," but they are both identical copies of each other. I guess someone really felt we needed to watch "Train of Thought", "Now You See It", "The Hand Painted Thai" and "Just Another 3-Ring Circus" over and over again. So, do you all have this same issue? I bought mine from a Best Buy in Southern California. Do I take the set back or are they all like this?? Help!

Take it back and make them open and check the replacement before you accept it.

Well dont feel bad. Just checked my diska and i have the same problem.First they cut out the cover songs.Now i have 2 copies of the same disk .Im not sure what to do either i bought mine at Kmart.I also didnt get the little book with the triva. Any one besides me and timmyT have this problem

Well, I got mine from DeepDiscountDVD and I have exactly what I'm supposed to have. Since it arrived last Saturday, I've had the chance to put all six discs in the machine, if only to watch a favorite scene here or there.

I bought mine from deepdiscountdvd and was missing disk 5. had to send it back so they could send a full set.

Well i took my DVD back to K mart and exchanged it.Still dont have the little book.But the disks are the way they should be.I would just take yours back to best buy timmyT:)

My copy did not come with any book either. I have not watched all the disks yet, so i don't know if they are messed up. I got mine at wal-mart for $26.44. I can't describe how angry i am about the original music missing, especially "Eve Of Destruction".

I didnt get a trivia book either. Hmmmmm I didnt know it was supposed to have one. I wonder if I contacted the manufacturer if they would send me one. I didnt get to check out the disks.. so I will do that when I get home.

Whew... I at least got all my disks.. Bugs me that I didnt get a booklett though. has anyone tried to contact anchor bay about this?

Anyone know why the original music is not included in the episodes? Because Cannell blows raw monkey? No wait, that's not the reason... Yeah, 'A Chicken In Every Pot' is listed on the DVDs. Um, it's 'A Chicken In Every PLOT', you numbskulls. Talk about no coordination between who created the DVDs and who packaged them. (sigh)

Whoa, defect! I haven't checked my DVD yet. *gulp* I haven't had a chance yet to watch the new set yet. Hope it's all right. Well, I got the Trivia booklet with mine...so far so good.

Thanks for your advice, everyone! I decided to return the set to Best Buy today and got a new set that has the correct episodes on Disc 4. The people at the store wouldn't let me watch it there just to make sure. They wanted me to go home and watch it and then return for another exchange. I was thinking that this might possibly go on forever! (Remember, my defective disc was labeled "Disc 4" but it had the wrong shows on it - basically an exact copy of Disc 3.) I did get a trivia book with both sets, however! So, all's good with me now. Anyone else have a problem with Disc 4?

Hi, I'm new too!! I just bought season 2 from Amazon and the 3rd disc in my set is the last disc from season 1 episodes. Did this happen to anyone else? I'm not sure what to do. I'm trying to watch the rest to see if there are any other problems.

Thanks to this topic, i discovered i have the same problem, too and, of course, the trivia booklet is missing... ...it seems there are a lot of "bugged" season2 boxset copies around.

I'm missing my instruction book too!!! I emailed Anchor Bay and requested another instruction book but haven't received anything from them or even acknowledgement that my email was received.

Legally speaking, the retailer is responsible towards you for every defect you can find. Then the retailer will ask AnchorBay for a substitution. You have not contractual binding with AnchorBay, i think this is the reason why they didn't answer you.
