I don't have the ability to get screencaps, save using the ones on the board, so I'll do some sort of odd fact. When I was looking at the Bill thread, I realized that Culp had the same Chinese animal as I do (horse). Well, William Katt's is a tiger (1951 I think), the same year as someone I know. Also, funny thing is my mom and uncle have the same birthday as him (Feb. 16). Pretty interesting that, and one of those you don't think of since the tabs, etc. use the Greek zodiacs (Pisces, Libra, Capricorn, etc.). It'd be interesting to find out the other GAH star's ones. (ETA: Nope, had the Chinese animal wrong. Katt's is actually a rabbit for 1951. To quote billswoman, my b. )

You're so nice to the Hinkley Homeys, MrsMaxwell!
You know, I learned to drive in a Dodge Diplomat exactly like that; same color, year, everything.

Yeah, it was great, cuz Mom and Dad had a Dodge Aspen, also the same color, and the two cars are virtually identical inside.
Darn, even the simulator was better than a Ford, yeesh!!!

William Katt is so sexy! His BLUE eyes, (as it was the topic if which color they were.) I think somewhere in the middle of the second season the lighting made them look hazel. But the Blue (sigh) ;D.

I apologize to the HH about going on about a silly car... I realized after that last post that y'all don't need us MM's coming into YOUR thread and going OT, so... in regards to the eyes, I agree, they seem to be blue-hazel, changing every so often.
On a similar note, Culp's seems to do that too (in "Beast in the Black," he says "Although my mommy says hazel"). In many shots from "I Spy," his eyes look downright GREEN.
But yeah, Katt's eyes change color (staying focused on Ralph/Katt here, mind you!)

Anyway, now I'm really gonna be paying attention to eye color, because I could swear I've always seen bright blue, or the occasional darker blue if that's the lighting.

Ya, know, I've gotta say, I never fully appreciated Katt's work when I was watching the show in its original run. And I didn't see the show in syndication. So it wasn't until I got the DVDs that I could really sit down and watch Katt's performance. The man's good. Not just good - at times he really transcends the show. Re-watching Train of Thought the other day, I flashed on, of all things, Buffy. The angst and tension Katt brought to this really basic amnesia premise (which, let's face it, was just a chance to re-cap the suit powers for the new season) was startling. I started thinking all kinds of what-if, Marvel Crossover type scenarios. What if... Ralph got a job as a Guidance Counselor in Sunnydale? How far is Sunnydale from Palmdale, anyway? I also started wondering what Bill and Giles would make of each other, but that's a different thread

Man, I hope to meet him one day. I have movies I got on ebay comin in soon. I really want to see 'First Love'...It's a hormone thing. Stay tuned for my next caption... Ain't he purdy?

I think William Katt is a great choice for that part...better than Orlando Bloom played it...I think he and Depp would have played off each other well. Better yet, set the GAH episode in the past...have Bill be Depp...Katt be Bloom...and Pam be Elizabeth. That show would have been great.
