Houston Knights Miami Vice (first season only, it sucked after that) I also like the original Battlestar Galactica. I don't like the new one.

I find the DVD revolution to be quite amazing. Who really ever thought we would have The Greatest American Hero, A-Team, Knight Rider, MacGuyver, G.I.Joe, BattleStar Galactica, Transformers, and many more sitting on our shelves in complete affordable collections. Where is Tales of the Gold Monkey, Riptide and Airwolf? Sometimes I cringe because I know I have to spend money on all these, but I delight ;D in having good copies of them all.

I hope Shazam will make it to DVD one day. For bad as it was, you still rarely find superhero shows of that quality made for saturday morning.

When they release them totally intact (teasers, no changes, etc) it kinda makes those old tapes of mine we used to watch obsolete, huh? LOL

One thing I wish we would see more of is obscure animated tv shows. Blackstar, Bravestar, Spiderwoman etc etc.

Ripley's Believe It Or Not Get the right episode of Ripley's and you can find one of only 2 "civilians" ever to appear in the suit on national television. I would say 3 if you counted Paul Koslo who appeared in Hog Wild wearing the suit, but since he's an actor I don't count him as a "civilian".

Well I grew up in LA and I used to drive by it all the time right off the freeway. It was being sold by the guys who built it. The same guys who made the Green Hornet car and Old Batmobile. I forget thier names right now.

Well The Green Hornet Car (The Black Beauty) and the 60's Batmobile were built by 2 different guys.
Dean Jefferies built The Black Beauty, and George Barris built the Batmobile. Although Barris loves to take credit for work his shop did not perform, and has claimed to have built BB, but he didn't.
Are sure your weren't driving by Jefferies shop and really were looking at The landmaster from the movie Damnation Alley? Reason I say that is, I always heard the Ark II was dismantled and part of it used for the full-size mock-up of The Seeker from Space Academy. When watching SA you can for sure see the nose id ARK II.

I think it was Barris...not sure. As far as the ARK what I saw wasnt much longer than a cadi' and had tank type tread wheels.
