Either way, I just wish we'd get more details as far as the comic and such - such as what it might look like and such. Apparently, they did have the posters for sale based on that one blog. But, apparently, that might be a couple of days from now, and can't say as I blame them given how long this convention is.

If you prefer the most realistic portrayal possible in a comic book, I would nominate Alex Ross to illustrate it, even if it's just the covers. His artwork has so much depth that at first glance it looks like a photograph. www.alexrossart.com/If anyone is familiar with his miniseries "Kingdom Come" and "Justice", you know what I'm talking about. Every page is a painting, and every character looks like they could be a real person. His Superman, for example, has elements of both George Reeves and Christopher Reeve, and his Wonder Woman is a very buffed-up Lynda Carter. I just hope they stick to one artist for the run of the comic if possible, and hopefully one with a realistic style. I've seen comics go from Van Gogh to Saturday Morning between issues, and the effect, for me, is rather jarring.

Hero isn't going to be dark. You want to artwork to portray what we see in the characters and their personalties. Besides I think I saw an ashcan in one of the photos which means that they have an artist.

I agree - it's a great article, though I feel that all the cast deserves a standing ovation because all three are about to take part in something that's been 25+ years in the making. Yup! and Katt is the one who put the whole thing together! without his doing I don't think it would be as it is today! At least it's in hands we can trust!

Yes, but I think Culp probably got a longer one or it was more worthy of mention due to the fact that he has been a TV staple for so much longer with shows like I SPY and TRACKDOWN prior to GAH. I hope they have cameo roles myself, but the article does not guarantee that from the wording. Exactly, HD. Culp has more than 40 years under his belt as a continually working actor and so it was fitting he got the standing ovation. Shows indeed how highly regarded he is in general to fans. Plus, he's looking good at 78! Still nice and lean and tall! As I said, he deserved it! Mona

Yep, and I feel that while Culp did deserve the standing "O" he received, I feel that all three deserve one as well because of what they're about to embark on. It's a lot of time, patience, and shoe leather (well, maybe not the last part in this bit - maybe ink jars and ink blotters?) to get something this fantastic started. I wish the people at MSN.com and other groups would figure that out too - getting tired of all the Movie and TV show news... HEY, there are comics to talk about as well.

Especially Culp! Mel, it's not about "everyone deserving a standing ovation" it's about the fact that CULP received one. Why dilute Culp's honor and recognition? That's not right. Just let Culp's standing ovation stand, as it did, on it's own. There's been enough pleasant gabbing about Katt and Selleca already without having to drag them into this one specific Culp-related accolade. Mona

Mona, I'm NOT - trying or otherwise - saying that Culp doesn't deserve the nod. He did earn it - and I AM giving him credit where credit is due. He has worked hard in his projects and yes deserves credit given he's nearly 78 and still has a hand in acting (i.e. "Robot Chicken," "Everybody Loves Raymond"). I only know of one actor - D ick Van D yke - who is older (he's I think 82) and still acting regularly. That said, I feel that none of the actors should be touted over any of the other two on anything in the news stories where all three are listed. It doesn't matter whom it is either, but without one - any one - of the actors, this would go the way of the dodo bird. But, then again, I'm starting to feel - with all three actors and everyone here (myself included) - it's getting a tad overboard on the praises and why they one should get them (past reasons or present). I've been tempted a few times to say "Take it to the Bill (Culp)/Katt/Pam board," with the lauds, but have refrained. I think we should all stop doing this "better than the other" bit and instead start celebrating the fact that all three, SJC and others are bringing back an official "GAH" project to everyone. Afterall, they didn't have to do it.

I resent the fact that Connie has been celebrated enough in this thread. She hasn't.

I resent the fact that Connie has been celebrated enough in this thread. She hasn't. People have been saying how she hasn't aged, and looks lovely in what she's wearing at the panel. It's definitely true, save a little aging in the neck, she hasn't aged much. I'd like to know what Connie and Dennis' secret is... wonder if they found the fountain of youth... or that Cheezits secret really works.

ahhh....the secret revealed....I have a case in the closet. I have a Katt in the clos-um I mean... Marci... take it to the Katt board. But, maybe there is something to the Sellecca Solution... that or I really need to figure out the chemical configuration of Cheezits and how it is the eternal fountain of youth.

No, it's not. It's her own company. I've bought her shampoo before, used to get it at Eckerd's Drug Store here in SC. But now that Rite Aid bought Eckerd's out. . .can't find it.
