Doing some investigation on my own and this is what I found at the TGAH Yahoo Group:
> >The domain is registered under a Caesar Collazo...no movie studio is >associated with it. > >-JC > >Re: Is this for real? > >Out of curiosity, I typed in Caesar Collazo on Yahoo Search and found >out that he is the Chairman of "Iwatchnow" which shows classic tv >series on the web. It could be he is planning to show "The Greatest >American Hero" on the web on July 4, 2008. >If this is true, then it may not be a prank per se. >You can investigate this too and come up with your own conclusion. >
So there we have it folks it be someone else not extreme01 found same thing at the He-Man Fan Site too.

As I said, I'm playing conspiracy theory around here. While I'm highly skeptical, based on the Cannell.com response and the fact trying to bring the show back has been attempted three times before that I know of, I'd love to see it come back. (The three times are "GAHeroine," and two ideas bantered around by fans.) Thing is, with the same guy mentioning it being (bold and color my emphasis) "The Greatest American Heroine at: TGAH(.com)," I've been very curious about how it's returning and who might be the wearer. Guess we'll have to wait and see. If they do bring it back in this endeavor, I hope the wearer's male still. While I write the spinoff with Aidan and have proven a woman in the suit can work, the series still is best with a male wearer right now.

I think it will be funny if it does NOT get off the ground after Frank emailed SJC. I am sure someone could have prowled around here...as a member or guest...and gotten several great ideas...or through some of the affiliates and other sites we have dedicated to ideas. And FanFiction. The possibilities are endless. I doubt it would happen and be effective. The best thing we can do is watch IMBD and the like and see. Thanks for the updates and keep them coming.

The only thing that would concern me with using ideas in ff.net and such is that the ideas belong to the owners, and they'd have to get permission from them. I hope that they'd do that. Of course, we have about a year between the announcement and seeing if it takes off. But, I'm kinda like you that now that SJC's company's in the know about it, this group will have to get permission. They did that with the "Big Finish" audios, as they had to get the rights to use Doctors 5-8 as well as the themes used in those Doctor's eras. (Why I say 5-8: The first three have died, Tom Baker, No. 4, doesn't want to do it, Eccleston I'm not sure he will based on his comments and some fan's reactions to him staying for only one season, and Tennant's the incumbent, which means he can't yet).

Well since everything on FF.net is a copyright violation, SJC could close that down too if there are too many ideas in the new place. Same with your forum, Mel. Just because most companies won't doesn't mean that they cannot if this gets out of control.
I hope to see results either way and will keep watching IMDB and the like.

Just because most companies won't doesn't mean that they cannot if this gets out of control. I hope to see results either way and will keep watching IMDB and the like. I know that too, HD. Of course, the counter is that if he really wants to, he could tell the site to not publish stories based on his creation. My point is, it's the story ideas themselves, because there are some ideas out and about that could be useful for this endeavor, but it's better to ask if it's OK to use, say such as the concepts to "In Your Dreams" (silverhammer), or "California Nights" (lauren). But you also make a good point. If this succeeds, I hope they don't get out of control for the sake of fans and causal viewers. That's why "Doctor Who's" been as successful as it's been. It had elements that fans knew but was able to teach the basic concept of the show for those who didn't know about the series. (Wish we had a US basis to go on as far as restarts... even I'm getting tired of using this as an example. "Perry Mason" doesn't count because they were TV movies. )

Nope, not me, never was me, or have had nothing to do with this "new series". Even though I tried a reunion movie, with litle help and success, then tried a new movie with a new guy and cameos with the original group, (it's still on hold until further notice until my writing partner is ready to go again). And about this new series, I'm sure it'll probably bomb, and I'm sure it'll wreck the classic-ness and memories of the show that we have, and probably destroy what the show was about. So all I can say is good luck to them, and I hope they know what they're doing.

TO BE CONTINUED... hmmm, don't know him/her. It will be interesting to see if the TGAH.com project will come to fruition or not, and while I'm skeptical, it's at least an actual attempt in a long time to put it on film. If it succeeds, then it'll be the first time in a long time there's be a "Show" of sorts on film. (Yes, "GAHeroine" counts in this case. )

This is interesting. I signed up for the newsletter as well. I'm not sure what to make of this yet, but I do like the front page of that site. New wallpaper for the 'puter.

I just read this thread. Not sure what to think about it. As always it sounds like a good idea being started. I just question the whole official side of it yet not being associated with SJC, so how are they going about with that and such. If it's a good comic or a good story like we get from ff.net, I hope it does good. We'll just have to see. Wonder if anyone in it is a member here, lurker or what not.

I'm not a part of this project either... But I just wish I could figure out if one guy who posted on YouTube was right and it's going to be a heroine instead of hero. Very confusing... all I'm saying.

Well, I've been curious since they've mentioned a heroine who she might be, but that could've just been a typo. Most people would want to see a man in the suit than a woman, unless they were trying to bring back Holly Hathaway.

I can see a woman in the suit, so long as they do have the smarts like Pam. Holly was a dingbat... and I don't mean the Zapf type.
