I heard that about GHOSTBUSTERS as well because Bill Murray would not make a third movie. I have not heard if he would do the cartoon. I think GAH should be live action, but it might work as a cartoon. We will just have to see I suppose.

Oh i definitely prefer GAH to be live action. And none of that computer-generated stuntman crap either! Every crash landing should have that bone-crunching, faceplanting quality that made me wince in sympathy every time I saw the guy hit the ground (or whatever)...because you knew it was REAL! :-)
That first crash-landing into the sand in "Here's Looking at You, Kid" still takes my top award for Most Painful-Looking. :-)

I agree. Personally I like the huge water dive from THE HIT CAR.

Stuntmen get the least credit on making a show a success. I wonder if we ought to petition the guys who give out the stuntman awards (sorry, name slips me right now) to give Dennis Madalone a lifetime achievement one, given his work on GAH and other shows.

How often are they sending out the newsletters? Did they say? Monthly? Weekly? Annually?

I really like the idea of having a cartoon... And I have no idea how often the newsletters are coming out. I signed up, but have yet to receive anything.

You didn't get the one that the others got?
And a cartoon might be okay, but it would have to be similar to the series and I don't know if a cartoon could pull that off as well.

There was a real plan for a cartoon version of the show back in the late 80's. Obviously it never happened.

When I hear plans of them bringing GAH back, I've wondered why they haven't considered doing something like the cartoons or an audio series with the original trio. Sure, their voices sound older, but that doesn't mean it takes away from the fun.

Nope. They must hate you. Maybe they think she's JadeWarlock. (Long story there Lauren). Or... maybe there's been a monkey wrench thrown in the works and they're not sending out stuff yet because of it. Who knows.

The JadeWarlock bit is a joke based on something that happened on YouTube. But, to sum it up, my comment was based on my skepticism about the project coming to fruition. But, as I said, this would be the third time someone's tried this, and so far we've had one get turned down, one that is now being restarted again, and this one which we don't know much about. Given though that there's rumors that are outlandish, one that would, if used, be very contradictory to "GAH" (the gg's homeworld), I've become more skeptical.

This goes double if these rumors do prove to have some fact.

That is why they are DIE-HARD fans. *This post does not refer to the movie DIE HARD so Bruce Willis can rest easy*

Having Michael Gray in the role of suit wearer too will confuse some people, given he played Billy Batson (Capt. Marvel) in "Shazam." Sure, they're rumors, but still... :-\

If it goes through, I will be curious to see what form it actually takes.
