I ran across this web site yesterday looking for TGAH Memorabilia. www.tgah.com is it for real or just a prank? "B"

I'm kinda iffy, as the emblem does not have the normal style of the teardrops on the top of the symbol. Even when people just use the red emblem, it has those teardrops.
It also doesn't have any identifying information that this is "The Greatest American Hero" and there's been no news about "TGAH" actually being a movie in any entertainment news stories (not even rumor buzz). Even using the Web address like above wouldn't attract attention as most wouldn't get the acronym.
Now, my guess could be totally wrong mind you, but I'm highly skeptical about it right now. Could be a fan-produced film though, which would be interesting.

It could be real, but you would think there would be more information. My advice would be to sign up for their newsletter and see what it says. Then, you could be a great person and post it here so we could all see.

Hmmm... it says PG - sounds like something Cannell would do. LOL Seriously, we can only hope. If it is 'official', don't expect a big budget - hahahahahhahahaha...

LOL - yeah right. I don't see Rocket Man featured in this film. I'll settle for the GAH theme, hopefully not "re-done" by someone who screws it up too bad. How cool would it be to have a 'new' version recorded by Joey??? I did sign-up for that so-called 'newsletter' by the way. Why do I predict 20,000 SPAM emails hitting my inbox in the next week or so...

Dear Frank, No, this website does not have anything to do with us and we do not know who is behind it. Thanks very much for sending us the information. Regards, Joan Cannell.com

Thanks for the info, Frank. Great detective work. Are you sure you are not related to Rockford?

No, at least not that I know of. I like the whole "thanks for sending us the information" line. Sounds like someone's about to have their ass kicked - LOL.

I wonder how long before the site goes down. lol Especially since a. no one except us die hard fans would see the connection and b. there's nothing going on there right now. Thanks for finding out though Frank. Feel sorry for you though if you get 1,000s of e-mails. As if they don't do that enough already and you say "NO SPAM!" (Or Vienna Sausages either... )

I got a newsletter today from the site. It appears that a bunch of fans got together to create their own series. Now that's cool! I like that it's a production by fans for the fans so the question was "is it for real?" now the question is can they make it happen!?

Red Jammies Entertainment, LLC ... and TGAH Project Going back on a few threads here and reading this, I'm wondering if Mortimer West or Ted(Extreme01) are behind this. I still think this is going to be more of a fan project/independent feature than something done by some big company. The plus side is I've seen ideas for both around here and they're really good. Both cases, the wearer is male. I do hope, however, they leave ideas and stories that fanfiction writers have written alone unless they ask permission. Some of us wouldn't mind helping out in that regard.

That big canned reply said "We have spent over 10,000 hours researching what you, the fans, want to see in a new movie and have listened to what, you the fans, DO NOT want to see in a new movie."
Hmmm, funny. I don't recall anyone asking me. Has anyone else on this board, which is as far as I know the busiest GAH fan site on the 'net, been surveyed on what we do and do not want?

I think if you started reading this board beginning to end it would take 10.000 hours to get through it LOL
We are the biggest board and theres alot of $*!@ to read on here LOL
I just hope who ever they are they follows through. We've seen them come and blow and no one ever follows through. So if they REALLY are doing it they got my support!

I agree with you on this bit about all clout and following through. There have been a few attempts that didn't get far in, but it's possible it's one of the two I mentioned. Wish I knew for sure, but then again, I'd probably have to be told to say about it. What I can say is that I did banter some ideas with Extreme01 a while back in PM, so there is at least interest in getting GAH back in some form or fashion.

I had wondered the same thing. There is at least one person who they could've talked with on here, if my hunch is correct. I have been doing some research as to possibly who could be part of this... and have found some interesting results. Conspiracy theory, if I'm right as to whom it is, he and I bantered some ideas about a new suit wearer (male with a female partner), but that has been some time ago. While I can't be sure if it's him, that is a possibility as well as it the other person or some group we don't know about. Guess time will tell if this will take off or if it'll crash like Holly and GAHeroine.
