GAH was a question on Jeopardy yesterday! The category was TV Theme Songs, and the answer was: "Believe it or not, I'm walking on air, I never thought I could feel so free..." I think I scared my dad a little when I answered quite loudly...lol

Did they get the answer right Miss D? I've been surprised lately how many people here where I live say that "Believe it or not" is the theme song to "Seinfeld" because of George's answering machine.

Mel: Surprisingly, the guy got it right! HD: Thanks! Meh...I'll go change my email address now so you can e-mail me. I'm not going to make anymore promises about AOL IM. I'm just going to try and be more active on the board, and see where I go from there

You know - life in my job doesn't make sense: Then again, any job where you have people think you're information just because you walk around with a camera on your neck makes no sense. (Seriously - I don't know what it is about my camera that makes people ask me where the nearest restaurant, store - or today gun shop, is. )

If anything, you would think that they'd think you're a tourist and don't know your way around...

If anything, you would think that they'd think you're a tourist and don't know your way around... Yep, and to this day it STILL Confuses me. Fortunately I do have a pretty good pulse on the community and a decent memory for places, or I'd really have problems giving directions. Well, that and I've been able to get some of our smaller and IMHO better restaurants some business.

I have come to realize that I may be enjoying doing polymer clay projects as well as the glass ones when I'm actually searching through cake decorating books and trying to see if there's any fondant designs I'd like to try and make in clay.
Then again - given our local bakery wants to make a cake in the design of one of my pendants, I shouldn't be surprised at this idea. :rofl

That's IT! I'm protesting the very cold weather!
I'm going to wear my multicolored ladybugs pendant I made a few weeks ago and a spring-themed bracelet with a purple thermal shirt, flannel pants and black slip proof shoes.
I love the weather - nice change of pace... but really, it's too cold when you are outside for five minutes and your hands feel like you've run cold water on them to warm them up and you haven't done that.

You aren't a groundhog. You can't change the winter weather pattern.

You aren't a groundhog. You can't change the winter weather pattern. I think I have better luck than Phil though - he predicted an early spring. Thing is - he has his years wrong here - last year he said six more weeks, and we had bluebonnets first week in February (they come in most often first week in March). This year it's been the reverse. On the plus side, the idea I had worked - we ended up with a sunny day after 11 a.m.

So it worked one day? That's not definitive.

So it worked one day? That's not definitive. Today, nice warm and sunny. I think it did at least SOME good. (Then again, any day I'm not feeling like I'm driving a shuttleboard disk is a good day. )
