OK the word I got was the movie is not scrapped.I would have said something earlier but I got sick and didn't do too much so... Hooray! I figured if there was any legitimacy to it, we would've heard from you prior to the website thing.

Does anyone know what's the current status of this movie? Are they still planning to make it? I can't seem to find any real reliable info on it.

Haven't heard anything as far as movie, but I think they're still WIP on the animated shorts and possibly a second season of "The Greatest American Hero" on StayTunedTV.net (though no, I haven't heard an update yet for it either).

That's too bad... I was looking forward to it. And it would've been great publicity for the TV series too----probably would've introduced a whole new generation to the series and made plenty of new fans. Oh well----it could still happen. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I was thinking the same, especially if the A-TEAM does well and possibly spurs a revival. Of course with new DVD releases, that can help too.

That's right----there's an A-Team movie on the way. I was forgetting about that. Great!
You can be sure that if that movie's a success, movie executives will be seriously looking at other Stephen J. Cannell properties----particularly TGAH.

I can believe that.
I wonder if SJC would be out to change the tone of GAH like he supposedly did with THE A-TEAM movie?

the movie is done for now. The script was done,we had someone for Ralph..but at the last minute, the financing was gone. So..it goes back on the shelf for now. If the A-Team is successful, then maybe they'll look at TGAH again.

Maybe. But with the death of Culp, it would be sad to have it without him being available for at least a cameo.

If the A-Team is successful, then maybe they'll look at TGAH again. At least there is some interest in the show if you had a Ralph cast. That said, it's a shame that the financing was gone. I'm hoping that "The A-Team" is successful enough that they want to do more SJC shows on the screen again (large or small work for me). It will probably be harder with Culp's passing, but still, I think it can be done.
