Note the 72nd Armored Division jacket Bill's wearing! Wow, America's Number One Field Agent ("This Is The One The Suit Was Meant For") on the Tonight Show! (Actually I stole this off an awesome "I Spy" site, and the author said "date unknown" for this segment that Cos hosted. I emailed him and told him the info on the jacket, which narrowed down the date range a little.) Go here for 7 pages of awesome images of Culp, Cos, Robinson and Scott: ispy65.tripod.com/home.htm

Great screencaps, billswoman. I liked the "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys" one in particular. It reminds me of my college days when I had to do some laundry in the sink. While silly at times, at least I didn't set of the dorm's fire alarm for steaming jeans in the shower. I was playing capture the flag at a rec event, when I saw the firetrucks heading toward where my dorm was. I ran there only to find out it was a false alarm because someone was steaming their jeans in the shower.

Steaming jeans... in the shower...I'm wondering why anyone would steam jeans in the first place.
I didn't know anyone played Capture the Flag any more! That's great!!

I know, it's been four years since I graduated and I still don't know why she did, unless she didn't have an iron. Still, there were stranger alarm calls. We played capture the flag my senior year in college. We had a lot of places where we could hide the flag around our boundaries, so it was a lot of fun. Funny thing was, it wasn't too long after they showed the first season of Survivor (they were beginning the second season then), and the colors of the flags were orange and yellow. Best thing was it gave us a chance to unwind before finals.

MelMac, you're not in New England, are you? That's where we used to play it, in New Hampshire, when I was a kid. I've never seen anyone else playing it, after we moved down south, then to the Seattle area. (I know this is going off-topic, oh well... unless Bill played it too as a kid?)

Well, for all we know, Bill did, whether it was a game or real life when he served in Korea. No, I'm a Texan, and have lived here most of my life and in every cardinal direction of the state. I've been to New Hampshire though, as well as Massachusetts and Maine. Beautiful area. Capture the flag was made a college activity my senior year, along with a couple of other events. They decided to bring it in to try to get students out more to night campus activities. It worked, as both the spring and fall editions were well received. I think the only other night activity (besides Homecoming events) that was well received was the haunted house. Fun to do, but people look at you odd the next day when you do a Dr. Jeckyll/Mr. Hyde when you participate in one. (By that quiet student by day, mad doctor by night)

I got an email from one of my regular fan fic readers:
(Don't mind the spelling, I copy/pasted as-is)
"bill maxwell served in korea and siad in one ep thta he was interogatred while in prison camp."
I did a search on this board for "prison" and "prisoner" and didn't find anything to indicate that Bill was a POW in Korea.
Is this woman correct? There're too many eps I either haven't seen or don't recall. I thought O:SS and "Heroes..." were the two he mentions his time in Korea.

MelMac, that is a great way to relax before finals. I should tell my students to go do that before they have to take one in my class.

I teach every communications course under the sun...and they are working on making me teach things in the global sphere like international relations and such....might as well put all my degrees to some sort of use.

Bill's response when Ralph tells him that he can't come in and disrupt their lives any time he feels like it: "Sure I can." Smile.

I just created this test. Please visit and take it, and let me know how lame it was. Everything I ask has been discussed in some form on this board, or else should be painfully obvious to any REAL Maxwell Maniac! (Speaking of which, I'll add who suggested Maxwell Maniac and Hinkley Homey to the test... wasn't it MrsM? I did a search and didn't find the originating post suggesting it. Let me know and I'll be happy to give kudos for the term.) I guess the link is good to add, right? www.okcupid.com/tests/take?testid=12878699045911698305Y'all want so much.

Curses! Missed the ID of Maxwell...got it and 003 mixed up. I wonder what else I missed...probably spelled his love interest wrong...curses. Are you going to post all the answers somewhere after a while? The board is huge, you know to look through every single post.

Thanks for taking it though, I haven't checked today on how it's doing. It's "O'Neil" btw. One L.
