Aww, jeez, quit yer cryin' I'll go add 14 to your posts right now (I'll just steal 14 from HD, he won't mind...) No worries (or complaining), I'm just mentioning it as a point, as stupid computer stuff happens. I'm glad that you fixed the profile as my brainless computer would remember all my passwords except to this board, and it works fine now . I'd rather use the 14 posts toward yelling at my (still sometimes amnesiac) computer. (I think it is a direct descendant of the ENIAC computer. I remember going to Dad's office and seeing one computer fill up an entire room. Room was freezing too to keep it from overheating.) Only reason I even mentioned it since is because some of my posts on the story thread don't line up with my registration date, and I didn't want anyone to be confused as to how I was able to post as a guest (which I wasn't at the time of that post, and the others are buried somewhere in the deep abyss of the folders). Here, I'm more kidding with the rest of ya'll about the comments that HD and others (including me) post too much, too long, who the top five post totals were (why I mentioned it too), post repeats of the same topic, etc. (Also, HD and I are kidding about me running into a glass door and the effect it had on some posts that evening, so I can't say too much about my posts). (ETA, since you added them to my total while I was writing this, thanks MyTatuo. You didn't have to do that. )

HD and I joined literally just days apart, I think two. Now that I've got a life (read: a job), I'll be posting even less. It's rather nice; I wake up, and there're tons of new posts. I come home from work, and there're tons of new posts. Y'all have been busy little beavers, huh? And there I go, off topic again. My b.

I come home from work, and there're tons of new posts. Y'all have been busy little beavers, huh? And there I go, off topic again. My b. Not really, I think that's my fault (going OT). In my case, I tend to post fewer times when it's a busy day. It'll probably be even less when I start serious practices for the show I'm juggling in. I have to show my routine(s) to the director Wednesday. I'm hoping she likes it, if not, I guess it'll be "In the Mood." I like that one, but I'd rather juggle to the "GAH" theme. I am presenting the "Theme to The Greatest American Hero" first though, so I can get an idea on if people like it. No one else has seen it except the ivy (I don't have a pet ). But to try to get back OnT, how about a "congeniality" award. I mean, something to the lines of the most helpful person on the boards, giving ideas about costumes, stories (i.e. plot bunnies.) This could be divided into two: MODs and users. Or, most brainest post (i.e. someone who has an extensive knowledge of the show or has posted a little known fact about it.)

[glow=red,2,300]COOL![/glow] Thanks, MrsMaxwell, but I'm a bit confused. In regard to the juggling routine, or the suggestions for the awards I wrote out? I do know I'm going to wear (for the audition) my GAH shirt and black pants again, but I might wear black socks and no shoes as I haven't had enough time to practice in my red shoes (balance is still a bit off in one trick wearing them right now.) Nor do I have red socks yet.

Yep, that's part of the fun of this. We can see who has been here a while, and who hasn't been, (although as I said, two of the top posters have only been here a couple of months. ). I try to avoid the short and sweet ones because it's not fair to fluff up the posts based on a single word (then again, I'm 14 shorter than my tally, b/c the restart of my profile caused the counter to restart, but, it happens.) Aww, jeez, quit yer cryin' I'll go add 14 to your posts right now (I'll just steal 14 from HD, he won't mind...) hey i think you are missing out of a cash cow. start selling posts at 5 cents. let me see......i will pay you $50 for 1000 posts. can i send it paypal ;D

Sorry Melmac, I was just being a wise-arse. You know, trying to increase my number of posts by posting lame one-word retorts... It sounds like you are quite a creative person. Whatever you decided to wear, best of luck! Oh, no worries, just a bit confused. I tend to be that way. Thank you for the well wishes for tomorrow as well. I appreciate the jokes about post fluffing. Now, to be fair guys, almost if not all 825+ posts I've done consist of at least one sentence of 10 to 20 words. I've never posted a single word comment on the boards (yet ). The longest one I've posted is more than 4,500 words, and quite a few are at least 1,000 to 3,000 (and not all of these are the story either). Average for me is at least 50-400 words. Not bad for being on the boards nine months. (Ok, right now I sound too analytical, sorry ) MyTatuo decided to add the 14 posts out of kindness (again, thanks MyTatuo), and he didn't have to do it, as I wasn't grousing about it or asking for them back, only making a point. I did lose them in the restart, and you can see one example in the Interactive Game Thread. The post where the comic store owner meets Fokus (disguised as Ralph) says I posted in March, whereas my joined date under the avatar says April. Computer problems happen, and I'm just glad my profile didn't go broke at 25, 100 or (especially) 500 posts and he had to restart it then. I would have just started over again as a student again, as I did when it first happened (though I was a student when it happened). (ETA, sorry if I sound as though I'm in a tirade or upset about the jokes. I'm not, but I wanted to let you know that I haven't fluffed up my post total using one word posts. I've been fair on my posts to get to the superhero level. That's why it's taken so long. )

Thanks to the nine regulars who voted besides Frank and myself (MelMac, Lauren, billswoman, Ms Boku, missdavidson, Average American Jason, silverhammer, magicjammies, houdiniderek), but I think at this point that the Jammies are practically dead. I had said we wouldn't give out awards based on ten votes; eleven doesn't make it better. Regrettably, we couldn't get some more of the regulars to vote (MrsMaxwell, kattwoman, ThatGirl, J-Man, scenario, even greenguy [but perhaps he abstained]), but that the nature of these polls. Unless there is a groundswell of support next month, we may just give out limited awards that the three moderators thunk up... That's OK, I wanna work on MrsMaxwell's HEROpoly game, anyway

I think we should still give out some, just because there was an interest in it. (We may get a few more votes in the next few days.) This is, as far as I can tell, the most votes we've had on a poll. (Well, maybe the one for "best writing" may have beaten it. ) Anyway, go HEROpoly! (It'll definitely be better than the TV game version they did a few years ago. That one went into the "What were they thinking for game shows category" ) (Great, I sound like a cheerleader. But I was a mascot. )

I'm shocked, Mel! I think that 'K qualifies as the shortest post ever on this board.
This is a blatant attempt at padding your post count, just to get to the next title.
I think even Derek is shaking his head at you. For shame, for shame, for shame....

Even though I tend to go on a rant once in a blue moon (or post similar posts, or write forever, or take things literally, or go on and on about juggling to the "Theme to the Greatest American Hero" or post as though concussed. ...)

Well maybe we can do a mini Jammie awards based on those who regualrly post and have a special catagory (Aliens MIA) for those who have kind of vanished but have a post that just stands out. Something to kick around for fun anyway. I think we should and um...so does Uncle Bill.

Don't know, there are a few of use who can speak eloquently on the boards and have good spelling as well (when not being literal or joking). I don't know who/what I'll vote for right now. I'd rather wait and see if we can get some short list done with more than one nominee instead of just shouting out names. There are so many good entries to be considered already and there may be more in the upcoming days. That way, everyone gets a fair shot.

Well, I know you're what, a copy editor? Fair enough. Spelling and grammar are two things I know I do better than the average bear, so I gave myself three zips and a snap!
