The latter. I need to get some more DVDs of classic shows. Yep, it was very odd, but I still enjoy the show a lot. All I know is that they're at least put in the box in the right order, with the movie pilot at the beginning and the last stories that include Hawk toward the end.

It's kinda funny, but some of my favorite shows seemed to leave the airwaves earlier than I'd like for them to have: "Legend," "Up Pompeii," "Fawlty Towers" (Though here they chose to only do 12 episodes), "GAH." Then again, all of those were original and sometimes I think that people want to just rehash the same things over and over again on TV now. If they didn't, we wouldn't have three "CSI's" and 3 or 4 "Law and Orders." :-\

*Shudder*
Sorry. Just remembering the episode Jerry Orbach was in. Kind of disturbing.

*Shudder* Sorry. Just remembering the episode Jerry Orbach was in. Kind of disturbing. Forgot which one he was in, but some were definitely out there as far as the stories. One of the ones I remember was having a presidential bunker inside Mount Rushmore and Buck is trying to figure out why it's so important to his past. Kinda had an impact too on the series knowing it, some pyramids in Egypt and some Aztec temples were the only landmarks that still existed after the nuclear holocaust in the story.

Might save up my gift cards for it though. Now... the Real Ghostbusters... not my cup of tea. I did like "Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters" because there was at least one episode where they had Slimer pulling silly antics and such. (Then again - I also like the cartoon version of him, he's quite cute. )

That was the 2nd to the last episode called Testimony of A Traitor from the horrible 2nd season. To me Buck was a fun show, not to take too serious. However they ruined everything about the series during its second year. It was painful to watch. Sometimes when I want to torment myself I watch some of the following: Galactica: 1980, The 2nd season of Buck Rogers, the 4th season of Airwolf, or TGAHeroine.

Most of mine have been said but dose anyone remember Airwolf? Or did anyone watch it? I think that's what it was called. Someone said misfits of science! I can just barely remember that one. How about the Equlizer. I still watch Andy Griffin sometimes. Used to love the Incredible Hulk and Dukes of Hazzard when I was young. Cheers! I liked moonlignting back then. Get smart. Colombo. Tales from the darkside. Thats all I can think of now.

GET SMART is a good one. I like Andy Griffith, but only when Barney was there. ;D
I never really watched AIRWOLF.

I agree. The show wasn't the same w/out barney. I don't really like the older shows after he left.

I watched and recorded Airwolf way back when it started in 84. Heck I even have a Airwolf flight helmet.
The first 5 seasons of The Andy Griffith Show are the best. After Don Knotts left, the show was more somber and it seemed more like a lesson in morals in every episode rather than a comedy.

Then it warped into MAYBERRY RFD.
For classic shows though, it is hard to top I LOVE LUCY and HOGAN'S HEROES. ;D

An extremely popular British science fiction series that I've never gotten into (I've only seen a few episodes), but would like to know more about is Doctor Who. It's officially the longest running tv series of all-time, with several hundred (if not thousands) of episodes. Several actors have played the part of the Doctor over the years. Seems like entertaining sci-fi.....

It's officially the longest running tv series of all-time, with several hundred (if not thousands) of episodes. Several actors have played the part of the Doctor over the years. Seems like entertaining sci-fi..... Ah yes, "Doctor Who" - you have a couple here who really enjoy that show (myself and Ms Boku/Ms B). The series itself originally ran from the 1960s to 1989, and had seven Doctors. They attempted to bring the show back in 1996 with a TV movie, but it didn't take well here in the US (it's main target and full of continuity issues from the series that people in the US didn't quite understand). It came back in 2005 and has been going on strong since. The original format was different than it is now - they were serials usually of four episodes, but sometimes as few as two and as many as 11. Not all the stories have video anymore, because the BBC wiped out tapes back in the '60s (to make room and because at the time reruns weren't too often). All of the original episodes do have the audios though, and some have screencapture serials to them. There have been 10 TV Doctors, soon to be 11, and then a film Doctor and several audio versions. There are two sites I recommend for more information: BBC's main one at www.bbc.co.uk/cult/doctorwho and Outpost Gallifrey's at www.gallifreyone.com

Another fan of Doctor Who here. I'd suggest watching the Tennant episodes.. Not really sure which seasons/series is the best to pick. Also go with the episodes that have the Daleks or Cybermen in them, except for Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks good concept at first but ehh around the second part. Then go from there, picking dalek and cybermen episodes from the previous doctors.. I wasn't too big of a fan of Eccleston, but Bad Wolf and The Parting of the Ways are two good episodes as well.

That would be cool if it wasn't so expensive and wasn't marred by someone's name. Did this come with a thermos I wonder? So many old lunchboxes did, but you never get a complete set anymore.

I'll give the seller this much - at least the name is scratched inside (meaning you could possibly get paint and gently cover it up without devaluing it much (if at all). That said I agree - though it is in good condition, it is quite expensive for a lunch box with no Thermos. Could be worse though - I saw a hard to find "Emergency!" lunch box at an antique shop that had huge black marker on several spots and no thermos. Price? - $75, and it was in poor condition.
