Right now, for me it's "Hotel." It's like "The Love Boat" in that it has multiple stories going on, but it is nice to see a show like that tackle some serious issues such as multiple personalities, a death at the hotel, a stalker, as well as a few fun issues.
And, the acting in the series is very good. It's a shame that Betty Davis fell ill after the pilot, because I really enjoyed her performance in the series. That's why Ann Baxter arrived to take over for Davis in the series as a new character (Ann Cabot from what I've read of the book so far is not in the book).
Too bad that this was one of the shorter running nighttime soaps of the era, but it is a timeless series that is a lot of fun to watch now as it was when it was made. It's probably the soap we watched the most during that era - save probably "Knotts Landing." We didn't watch "Dallas," "Dynasty" or "Falcon Crest" much.
