This week has been one of the oddest weeks I've worked at. It has also been probably the first week I could say I qualified for "Fear Factor" through work if the show was still on.

Desperado still uses men to steal horses to sell into dog food....
To this day, that old summary guide that was created for the failed "TGAH 2008" scenario still cracks me up.

Got any TV shows on bubble watch for the new year? I do. Yeah, not including "2.5 men" (not bad show, but tainted even now without Sheen), I see several. Some, such as "V" I won't be upset anymore because seriously they do not give the humans any victories. I actually don't mind the V's winning. Morena Baccarin was excellent in the role to the point that I loathed what she did in the end, and yet was successful. I can also see "America's Next Top Model" biting the dust because this season seems to be "Can you survive nearly being knocked unconscious, stung by bees, being lit on fire - fear factor style and look fierce" instead of a true modeling competition (BTW, those three could've really happened, and the girls DID walk down the runway with gloves on fire). Others, I kinda wonder, but if they do head out I'll be sad because they're very subtle in their playing of the situation.

ON a totally different note - did a demonstration at an art gallery of my clay projects. Let's just say that if you have ADD tendencies, even if you are not ADD (Which I am not), you would do well doing this demonstration because I not only had to work on the project, I had to talk to people as they were looking at my items and asking me how much an item was then a question about a project...
... Well, at least I made a decent profit out of it. But still... I thought Ralph had a rough day the day he hit the train with his head.

Almost done with the Easter egg for once... a full week early. The Cat is happy - I think she's tired of the bold colors and trying to see if it'll hatch a wooden chick.

I made my Easter egg so thick and heavy apparently that it withstood a strong windstorm today. Even the sign near it didn't fall away...
... then again, it could be that I had a nice large planted pot next to it so it didn't disappear.
Oh well, at least the egg is much more improved compared to last year's.

The next time I ever have to get a numbing shot in my mouth for teethwork, I'm going to make sure that she gives me more in the first shot and not do a "booster" shot. Mouth got fully numb about 20 mins. AFTER the tooth was fixed, and had to wait an hour and a half before I could eat. At least I had some pain tolerance but still. (Yes, this among other things is why I've been relatively quiet lately.)

Hey, I can type better than I can speak right now. But at least I do know for sure they don't have to numb me up to put in the permanent one. Because if they had, I would've needed to get most of the dosing in the first go. What was worse was she asked me if I wanted more anesthetic, and I flat out said No. I had a feeling that it was not going to numb up any faster and could've made me sick or such that I'd had to go home early (and miss a ballgame, and I didn't want that).

Mouth got fully numb about 20 mins. AFTER the tooth was fixed, and had to wait an hour and a half before I could eat. Ugh I know how that is. I had all four wisdom teeth removed on the same visit and they told me, "Seriously, let us know if you need more nubbing right away, because it's just going to get worse." Lol But it worked, I literally had no idea my teeth had actually be removed until they told me. ;D

I actually was lucky on my wisdom teeth - of sorts. They had to knock me out for them because mine had to be cut out. But to be honest, that's the ONLY time I've never felt any sort of pain from dental work. They've numbed me up pretty good before - as was the case when they first filled this tooth (it had broken before, so that's why they had to go with a crown when it broke again), but I still felt some minor pain. The one good thing is I have a fairly high tolerance to it, but still... not fun. At least I had won that gold in the bubblegum blowing contest a couple of days before (chewed on the good side BTW) - I can't chew gum right now and probably for a time after I get the proper crown. It does amaze me though feeling the temp how close it is to the real tooth.

I guess it didn't agree with me because I felt sick for the rest of the day, lol. So ironically, the dental work was the least painful part, lol.

Getting my wisdom teeth taken out wasn't a fun experience. They didn't all grow at the same time, so I had to go on four separate occasions. I hate going to the dentist.

Me too, fortunately I only have the one appointment for the permanent crown in a little over a week, and apparently they don't have to do another shot there. I'm glad... I really would rather not be miserable a couple of days before two all day events I have to attend.

I need to go to the dentist. If you need dental work, don't let them do the numbing stuff in stages. (Seriously).
