I have to admit crowns seem to be on the agenda.
Get my tooth crown tomorrow.
Had to make a crown for a doll for a store - which turned out quite well.
And other events I've attended featuring crowns.
Last week for Easter it was eggs, now crowns.
What next? - trout?

I admit I type fast, and sometimes the logins have trouble reading... ... but seriously.... When the site here tells you to verify that you are human by typing "Respect me" there is some serious attitude issues with said computer.

Hard to believe here that it's the end of the school year. It is funnier that the weather always seems to feel the same way every year, like a load off kids - and adults' - shoulders.

Oddly here too it is nearly literally - always seems to be a nice sunny day, though this year it's been a bit more stark where I live.
I'm just hoping tomorrow night is cooler temperatures - it'll be a long night otherwise.

Finally we can start barbecuing and getting Italian ices, lol. But give it a couple more days, and I'm sure we'll all start complaining it's too hot, lol.

Possibly - though I will say around this time last year I was enjoying the nice cool weather up in Washington State. That was a really cool trip, and while I won't get to do it this year, maybe thinking about it will keep me cooler. What is funnier to me is that I've noticed lately the warmer it is the more ideas I have to make clay projects, including some steampunk designs. Problem is... you bake the clay, so I have to have the oven on. At least the ideas have turned out nice.

Okay, so...since I've told HD first (because I knew if I didn't give him a head's up, he wouldn't be happy with me), I can let the cat out of the bag.

Congrats Miss D on the engagement... but right now you'll have a lot of "Fun" in Texas. Where I am it's really hot, and we're actually praying for rain. I'm even hoping for a mild tropical storm to get much needed rain.

First off, Happy birthday Miss D. Hope you have a good one. Still remember a few years ago when you designed a really cool "GAH" tank top to wear on your birthday.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
This has been a very unusual Fourth of July for me. This is the first year I have NOT seen a fireworks display in any form. Even the one year I tried to not attend - I had been overloaded working at the musical "TEXAS" for two years (and you see the display every night), I still ended up seeing a display when I attended the play for an event.
That said, it wasn't too bad - I did at least get my annual cup of beans and cobbler cooked over a chuckwagon grill. It is an odd tradition, but I have grown to enjoy it.
The funniest for me was how many necklaces were thrown at the parades I went to - I think the only one that tops it is of course Mardi Gras.
The other frustration was having an idea for some beads, but then blanking out on what I wanted to make out of clay. On the plus side though, at least it'll keep me from baking some for the next day or so while it's pretty hot and allow me to really get some great designs made.

We have two fires raging here in my state (and I actually saw one of them). The smoke is traveling over several counties as well. While I'm personally safe, please pray for rain and for the families who are caught in this issue, and help out any way you can.

Oh good gravy on tofu... does this word hunt thing on the site to verify you're a human and not a robot or Auton acts more like a robot than I'm supposed to be... especially when I typed it up correctly twice. And... the fair is over, and I did pretty well over all. Had a photo win a grand champion ribbon and I won first in the talent show. Kinda sad it's over though... it's quite fun to go to it every year.

Miss D, no one wants to live in Texas. Current weather, you have a point. It's why I get a longing to go back to Washington State every time I look at a photo in my house. The weather that month last year - August - was nice and cool at 60 degrees. The warmest day I had there was 75. Right now, the weather is seen as freezing at 86 in Texas. Sadly, Davy Crockett's infamous line of "You gentlemen may all go to hell, and I will go to Texas" has some truth to it in regard to heat.

It has been very busy for me in the past few weeks, months that I haven't been able to post here. I have been to a state volleyball tournament and other games I've had to cover as well as working on my jewelry for my business (yes, I'm a small business owner now too).
Haven't written fanfiction in a long time, but I plan on posting up my most recent one (well I say this - it was written about 2-3 years ago now), story on fanfiction.net.
Just crazy stuff going on.
