You said teaser, but it's more a "tag," right? The END of it? I thought I was reading the proposal for the next game thread to get it started, and I was wondering why someone was telling us how it was GOING to go.
From what I understand, listening to Culp's commentaries on I Spy, Teasers start the ep and Tags end them.

Oh, sorry, didn't know the difference (I wrote it a la the teasers they used to do for the show, hence why it was slugged as such). Thanks billswoman. (ETA, it's fixed, again, had it right first time. It's a summary teasing the first story itself, not ending it. Decided to add the last date a move was put in it and emphasize it was the first story. Man, I took broadcast in college, but I'm still confused with the minutae of what's what ).

Howdy, Boys and Girls! Just a little self-promo for a new story+ I posted today on FF.net. It's called Volcada, subtitle: Tango de Los Angeles (Tango of the Angels). It's a[dun-dun-dunn!!!] Bill/Pam fic so if you're already going "EEEWWWW!!!!" you'll want to skip it. However, I will say for PamFans I tried to put in a fair amount of Action-Babe stuff. Here's a bit you may like: Pam stepped into the nearest semi circle of light cast by a bare bulb on the wall. She gripped the pistol in both hands and raised it.
“Run,” she hissed, “Now!”
Pam heard Anjeline’s bare feet strike against the asphalt. The goon in the middle of the alley looked around at the sound of Anjeline’s flight.
“Freeze your face, punk!” Pam shouted.
It wasn’t as loud or as deep as she had hoped. But it had the benefit of surprise.
All three ambushers whirled toward her, guns drawn. All three froze at the sight of a woman in a “do me” red dress and spike heels standing spread legged in the middle of the alley.
She had to use both thumbs to pull back the hammer on the pistol. Only then did it occur to her to wonder if there was a safety. So the story's under the GAH listing at: www.fanfiction.net/l/877/3/0/1/1/0/0/0/0/0/1/It may not show up yet in the main page, but if you sort for "All Ratings" it'll come up. Also, if you look under the M-Rating there's a bonus chapter that's nuthin' but smut if that floats your boat. You won't miss anything plot-wise if you don't read it. Hokay! That's about it campers. Thanks and cheerio!

I was already going EWWWW. Okay, HD, go read just Chapter Seven, you don't need to know the rest if it'll squick you out... and picture yourself on that bed, not Bill Maxwell. Then tell me you're going "EW" muwhahahahahahaha! ;D

It's called Volcada, . ... silverhammer, I read your story and enjoyed it (can't seem to post a response on the fanfiction.net site yet). Looking forward to reading the conclusion to your other two stories. You've left plenty of teasers for what that'll be like, and it sounds good.

silverhammer, I read your story and enjoyed it Thanks, sweetie - I appreciate your feedback! I had a lot of fun with that story once I figured out Pam really needed a gun of her own

I notice on the FF.net site there are a lot fewer people visiting the smut-filled Chapter 7 of Volcado than are checking out the main story.
Either this is a reflection of a healthy understanding of one's own personal boundaries.
or.... there are folks who don't know how to find the M-Rated stories. On the off chance that's the case (and you're really missing something, 'cause the missing chapter of Stanford9's Bill-O'Neil story will heat up the coldest Winter night) here's a tip:
On the main GAH Story page, go to the upper right of the window. There's a drop-down box for Rating. Choose "All" or "M" - that's the only way to see the M-Rated stories.
End of PSA!

They're just not to my taste, not a reflection of anyone's writing skills, since all the stories I've read for GAH have been very good. For this show, I usually like the more action-adventure/comedy style format (closer to the actual show), so I tend to read those more.

Silverhammer:
I just finished reading "Volcada". All I can say is "wow". Wonderful story. I really liked the way you wrote the dialog between the two. You are quite a talent!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the dialogue - that's what made it really fun to write. I feel like I'm taking dication with these two - they just start talking and all I have to do is copy it down Honestly, it was too much fun to do just once... I'm somewhat ashamed to admit, there's another installment of what is shaping up to be the romance of the (last) century already in the works

"P.S. Billswoman, PLEASE tell me where you are hiding the M rated "Wild Country" chapters! I'm dyin' already!"
Um... (hanging head in shame)... not hiding them anywhere, cuz they don't exist. I wasn't entirely sure about writing that MA ending after all... BUT, since I know at least three people are interested (you, me, silverhammer i'm sure), I'll get'r done. I promise. To be fair, however, I REALLY need to finish my two WIPs first: the MASH/Maxwell crossover and the Gilligan's Island story.
And I'm anxiously awaiting ANY writing from silverhammer, but Bill/Pam, well... that's a given.
Silverhammer, did you get my message about other dames we can ship Bill with?

Speaking of fan fiction, I've been thinking about the next GAH Interactive Game Thread. Right now, it looks like we might start it up after the New Year's when there is no more hustle and bustle. I have an idea for the next one which I think will work, but am only PM'ing it right now because I still need to work out the kinks (and don't get too literal). Also, any ideas about rules for the next one, especially word length would be appreciated. I plan to make a thread in the next couple of days to get an idea who'd be interested in joining in. The first one was a lot of fun, but the more writers, the better the story gets.
